Information the apps handle

CCBOT mobile apps are designed for local robot operation. When connected to compatible CCBOT hardware, the app may display robot camera frames, sensor readings, telemetry, map/path information, bridge topic status, robot endpoint information, and emergency stop controls. This operational data is used to provide the app experience on your device and communicate with your robot over a local or user-configured network connection.

Information we collect

The CCBOT Rover and CCBOT Scout apps do not require a user account, do not collect personal information for advertising, and do not sell personal information. The apps do not send robot camera video, robot telemetry, or local robot sensor data to CCBOT servers as part of normal operation.

If you contact us through our website, email, phone, or a support form, we may receive the contact information and message content you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, product details, and support request.

Local network and device permissions

The apps may request local network access so your device can connect to compatible robot hardware or a robot bridge on your network. The apps may store user-configured connection settings, such as a robot endpoint, on the device to make reconnection easier.

How we use information
